McAlister's Deli is a place that sincerely and passionately cares about people: our guests, our community, and our own McAlister's family. Most importantly, we care for those children all around the nation that are in need. Tea for Tots is not just a program that focuses on caring for and giving to children, it is an essential part of the McAlister's heritage and at the core value of our concept.
Throughout the year, McAlister's sponsors several programs and events that work to provide for children's charities and organizations. Whether it is our annual corporate golf tournament, regional or individual restaurant supported fundraisers, a national awareness campaign or a system-wide fundraiser, Tea for Tots is constantly working to better the lives children.
The organizations that benefit from Tea for Tots are too many to mention, however, recent major campaigns have or will benefit St. Jude Research Hospital, the Catch 22 Foundation (Deuce McAllister's foundation that is dedicated to improving the lives of and mentoring children in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast region), Share Our Strength (an effort to end childhood hunger in America), the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, Toys for Tots and The Mustard Seed.
